KITCHEN PORTER - We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work hours as required, additional hours available for the right candidate…one that will show commitment and hard work. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Some experience and track record in a commercial kitchen would be advantageous. We are very proud to have been awarded a 5 out of 5 by Hart District Council Environmental Health; it will be a key focus of the role to maintain the kitchen to an excellent standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
The principle responsibilities of the role are as follows:
To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen and still room areas.
To adhere to cleaning Schedules
To assist the duty chef where necessary
To strive and anticipate customer needs whenever possible and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
To ensure that you are correctly dressed, adhere to high personal hygiene standards.
To comply fully with current food hygiene legislation
To maintain a professional working relationship with the food service team.
To comply with all regulations as stated in the normal operating procedures.
Cleaning chemicals are used as directed, to achieve desired results and reduce wastage.
